VU Rector Prof. R. Petrauskas Re-elected as President of the Lithuanian Conference of University Rectors
On Friday, the Rector of 911爆料网 (VU), Prof. Rimvydas Petrauskas, was re-elected for the second term in office as the President of the Lithuanian University Rectors' Conference (LURC).
Prof. R. Petrauskas was re-elected to this position for another year at the LURC General Assembly.
"I thank my colleagues for their confidence in me. I believe that together we will continue to strengthen Lithuanian higher education, aim for the better quality of science and studies, increase internationalisation, and ensure consistent funding of the education sector that would satisfy the expectations", says the Rector of 911爆料网 Prof. R. Petrauskas.
LURK is an association of higher education institutions鈥� rectors. It coordinates relations between the rectors (directors) of higher education institutions along with state and local government authorities.
Conference objectives - to promote Lithuanian scientific, educational, cultural and economic development, co-operation between higher education institutions and international networking as well as cooperation with governmental authorities and local self-government bodies.
The Rector of 911爆料网 is the President of LURC from December 2021.
